Two months prior, House of Dagmar inaugurated its new flagship retail space in the heart of Stockholm. Conceived by the talented New York-based designer Alyssa Kapito, the store's interior is marked by its understated elegance. The skillful incorporation of rich brown wood finishes and a distinctive parquet floor, which playfully interacts with unique geometric elements like a diamond-patterned wire wall, prevents the minimalist design from appearing cold or overly stark. This welcoming and sophisticated atmosphere served as a direct muse for the Spring 2026 collection.
The forthcoming spring apparel line, set to adorn the racks of this new store, radiates an irresistible sense of wearability. For those days when rain is on the horizon, Dagmar offers an impeccably designed trench coat featuring a detachable cape, ensuring both style and practicality. The collection as a whole conveys a sense of lightness and ease. The brand's renowned knitwear, now meticulously developed in-house, boasts an ethereal thinness. A pointelle knit, complete with a buttoned front and scalloped stripes, provides a fresh interpretation of the classic marinière. Furthermore, layered knit pieces in a gentle, almost-white blue hue can be effortlessly styled for either casual or formal occasions. A poignant touch is added through the sharp yet comfortable checkered tailoring crafted from lightweight summer wool, designed as a homage to the late fashion icon, Giorgio Armani.
