The interior design of Ardbeg House embraces a vibrant maximalist aesthetic, departing from minimalist trends to create a truly distinctive atmosphere. For example, the Rebel Suite draws inspiration from Islay's maritime rebellions, showcasing bold nautical elements and striking patterns in rich blues and greens. The Monster Room, a highlight, captivates with its dramatic red and brown palette, featuring an ethereal chandelier that appears to emerge organically from the ceiling and a grand bed entwined with vine-like details. Custom wallpaper in this suite, designed to mimic crocodile skin, pays homage to the legendary Islaygator, even echoing a whisky created in its honor. Throughout the accommodations, guests might also discover thoughtfully placed bottles of Ardbeg whisky, adding an element of delightful surprise to their stay.
